Silver Point Leads $650 Million Financing Supporting the Acquisition of C&D Trojan by Stryten Energy

GREENWICH, Conn., Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Silver Point Capital, a global leader in credit investing, today announced that its Direct Lending business has led a $650 million term loan financing supporting the acquisition of C&D Technologies, Inc. and Trojan Battery Company, LLC (“C&D Trojan”) by Stryten Energy LLC (“Stryten”). Silver Point led the syndication of the financing to existing and new lenders.
Silver Point believes this combination creates a leading battery manufacturing platform serving transportation, industrial, essential power, critical infrastructure and military applications. Following the acquisition, the combined company operates 18 battery manufacturing and component facilities across the United States, Mexico and China.

Stryten is a portfolio company of Atlas Holdings, and C&D Trojan was a portfolio company of KPS Capital Partners. Stryten completed the acquisition on October 1, 2026.
