Programs with Colorado, UConn, Oklahoma, and Texas will create year-round fan engagement and amplify community impact through local philanthropic initiatives
SMITHFIELD, RI, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Renewal by Andersen, Esler Companies, the largest independent affiliate of Renewal by Andersen, announced long-term relationships with the athletics programs of the University of Colorado Boulder, the University of Connecticut, the University of Oklahoma, and the University of Texas. The new programs were developed in collaboration with Learfield, the leading media and technology company powering college athletics.
Esler Companies operates Renewal by Andersen businesses across nine regions in the United States. Through these programs, the company will deepen its relationships with homeowners and establish Renewal by Andersen as an active, trusted partner in the communities where its teammates and customers live and work through alignment with the traditions, passion, and unifying experiences of college athletics.
The programs will bring Renewal by Andersen to fans throughout the year through activations surrounding football, men’s and women’s basketball, and additional men’s and women’s sports at each university. The program is expected to include in-venue visibility through event activations, digital media, social content, student-athlete name, image and likeness opportunities, and sweepstakes offering access to special prizes and experiences.
Renewal by Andersen will also work with the universities and local organizations to identify and execute philanthropic initiatives responsive to the needs of their respective communities. Additional details about the initiatives will be announced as the programs are finalized.
“At Renewal by Andersen, Esler Companies, being a trusted community partner means doing more than placing our name in a market. It means investing our time, resources and expertise in the people and places that make that community strong,” said Matt Esler, CEO of Esler Companies. “This represents a substantial marketing investment for us. College sports create an extraordinary sense of pride, belonging and shared experience. Those same qualities are central to how people feel about their homes, and they make these partnerships a natural extension of who we are and how we want to show up in the communities we serve.”
The decision to engage in this alliance is reflective of the memory-making, loyalty, and shared experiences contained within live sports that strongly overlap with homeownership. The focus on college athletic programs will allow Renewal by Andersen to engage families, alumni, students, and the community throughout the year and in multiple sports, rather than during a single season. By partnering with Learfield, Renewal by Andersen will also be able to leverage the company’s first-party fan insights and digital media, including display and online video across applicable distribution channels, to deliver relevant content to fans, throughout the year.
“The best college athletics programs connect brands with passionate fans in ways that reinforce their school pride while supporting their teams,” said Shawn Hegan, Executive Vice President of Global Partnerships at Learfield. “This program will create stronger community ties and meaningful fan engagement opportunities for Renewal by Andersen, Esler Companies across some of the biggest stages in sports.”
The program objectives reflect the company’s longstanding commitment to investing in people and improving the communities it serves.
In 2025, the company provided a significant, transformative donation of new windows and doors for Clayton’s House, the Dempsey’s Center’s vital hospitality home in Portland, Maine serving individuals and families receiving cancer care. A volunteer team of 35 employees installed 22 new, custom-manufactured, energy-efficient Renewal by Andersen® windows and 2 new doors, helping make the facility more comfortable, welcoming and efficient for the people who rely on it.
The company’s Door of Opportunity Scholarship Program reflects its belief that access to education can positively transform a person’s life. The program has awarded scholarships to more than 400 recipients and represents an investment of more than $5 million in educational opportunity.
The four university programs mark a significant expansion of Renewal by Andersen’s sports-marketing and community-engagement strategy, having previously developed successful partnerships with professional soccer organizations. The company will look to further its involvement in the college space, using the experiences at these four schools to enhance future engagements.
