National Airlines Granted U.S. DOT Exemption to Operate Scheduled Air Services to Venezuela

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Florida based National Airlines has been granted a two-year exemption by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), effective through July 30, 2028, authorizing the airline to operate scheduled foreign air transportation of cargo and passengers between the United States and Venezuela.

The exemption represents a significant milestone for the airline and underscores the confidence placed in National Airlines’ operational capabilities to support critical international missions.

Under this authorization, National Airlines will immediately commence humanitarian relief flights to Venezuela, transporting essential humanitarian aid and relief supplies in support of ongoing assistance efforts. The flights will help ensure the rapid delivery of life-saving cargo to communities in need while supporting broader humanitarian objectives.
