FS Vector, a leading strategic consulting firm for companies innovating in financial services, announced the appointment of Mike Santoro as Chief Growth Officer. Building on his work advising the firm over the past year, Santoro will lead FS Vector’s growth strategy, marketing, and sales efforts. He will work with the firm’s practice leaders to deepen relationships with clients and referral partners, and reach new ones.
Since its founding, FS Vector has expanded its expertise across advisory, licensing, and government relations, while broadening the services it provides to banks, fintechs, digital asset companies, and other financial services organizations. The Financial Times named FS Vector to its 2026 list of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies, and American Banker recognized the firm as one of its Best Fintech Companies to Work For.
“I’ve spent the past year working inside FS Vector, and I took this role because of what I saw first-hand: expertise that tracks where financial services is heading, and clients who stay with the firm,” said Santoro. “My job is to build on that and make sure FS Vector continues to bring our full capabilities to clients as the firm grows.”
Over the past year, the firm opened an office in New York City, expanded its executive search practice, and launched a dedicated federal tax policy offering. FS Vector has also continued to invest in industry infrastructure and technology including founding and coordinating the Coalition for Financial Ecosystem Standards (CFES) and expanding APPROVED™, its proprietary platform for pursuing and maintaining state and federal licenses, into regulatory exam management.
“The firm has scaled not only in size, but also in the breadth of what we can offer our clients,” said John Deignan, CEO. “We have strong practice leaders and expertise across an increasingly wide set of challenges facing the market. Creating the Chief Growth Officer role is an important step in bringing those strengths together. Mike already knows our business, our team, and the opportunity ahead, and he brings the experience to help us build an integrated approach across our practices.”
Santoro previously served as CEO of Walker Sands, a B2B marketing agency, where he oversaw the firm’s scaling to more than 200 employees and 10-time recognition on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America. More recently, through Bell Pioneer, he has advised CEOs and leadership teams on growth strategy, marketing, sales, and organizational development.
In the near term, Santoro will focus on aligning how the firm reaches clients across advisory, licensing, and government relations and shaping the investments that will underpin the firm’s 2027 strategic plan.
